Encrypted on the way in
Your file travels between your browser and our servers over a TLS-encrypted connection.

Gone when you delete it
Delete a file from your dashboard and it is erased immediately and permanently, with no backup copy kept.

What you can change on an invoice
How to edit an invoice PDF
Upload the invoice
Drop the PDF in, or pick it from your device. A Word or Excel invoice is converted to PDF first.
Click the text you need to change
Select the wording that is wrong and retype it in place. The surrounding layout and formatting stay where they are.
Add anything that is missing
Type new text anywhere on the page — a purchase-order number, a note, a revised due date — or drop in a logo image.
Cover a detail you need to replace
If something has to disappear rather than change, cover it and type the correct value on top.
Check the whole invoice
Read the totals and the customer details once more. Nothing recalculates on its own, so the numbers are exactly what you typed.
Download the corrected invoice
Save the PDF and send it on, or keep it with your records.
Invoice details you can correct
- Invoice number and issue date
- Due date and payment terms
- Customer name and billing address
- Your company details
- Line-item descriptions
- Quantities, rates and totals
- Tax and discount lines
- Purchase-order or reference numbers
- Notes and payment instructions
Why fix it here
Keep the invoice you already sent
Correcting the existing PDF means the layout, branding and numbering stay exactly as the customer expects.
No re-keying into another program
You change the wrong field instead of rebuilding a whole document to fix one digit.
Add a logo or a stamp
Drop an image onto the page if the invoice needs branding, a paid mark or a signature.
Works on an invoice you received
You do not need the original file or the software that made it — the PDF is enough.
One clean file to file away
Download the corrected invoice as a PDF and archive that single version.
Built for bookkeepers, accountants, freelancers and business owners fixing an invoice that has already gone out.
How editing an invoice works
- You edit the text already in the invoice, or add new text anywhere on the page.
- Every value is text you control, so the figures read exactly as you type them.
- On a scan or a photo you place text on top, which works the same way.
- Editing existing text covers Latin-script content; on other scripts you add text on top instead.
